I live in the USA and have lived in many states. I have learned to love people. I try to see the good in everyone. There are many good and interesting things going on the the world and on the web. I have recently (thanks to Facebook) had the pleasure of reconnecting with some long-lost friends. I have also made some truly great newer ones after having moved here a few years ago.

I served the the army for four years in the 1980's because I love my country. If I had to do it again I would have stayed in and made the army a career. Aside from the obvious, there are many great things a person can learn from a career in the military. It is a place where you rely upon one another and learn social skills and societal values.

As a citizen of this world I love my freedoms. We should all be free to express ourselves. Whether in the arts, intellectually, religiously or politically.  Through the written word or in verbal speech or in visual art.

Freedom of speech is more than an abstract concept. It the recognition of and respect for a person's right to express him or herself freely and the right to disseminate information to whom ever he/she wishes. Hopefully the information that is being expressed is not erroneous and not harmful to third persons not involved in the conversation.

Another freedom I love is freedom of expression. We should all have the right to freely express our innermost thoughts and feelings to the world without fear of recrimination as long as no harm is caused in the process.

My other interests vary, among other they include history, religions and their histories, computers, computer operating systems and software and it's history, military history, social values, animals, things that make the world a better place to live, comedy and sense of humor, and ways to make a positive impact on society in general to improve our world.
